Welcome to the Newest Recipe Contest for Diva Farms Garlic.  This is one everyone can enter.  It’s a recipe contest for using Garlic Spread, so bring on the creativity of using Garlic Spread in appetizers, sauces, main dishes or side dishes.  There are tons of ways to use Garlic Spread and yours could be the winner.

Rules

  1. No purchase is necessary.
  2. Contest is void where prohibited by law. Subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  3. Enter as often as you like but only one entry may qualify as a winner.
  4. Cut and paste the above form into your e-mail and after you have filled in your recipe entry, e-mail it to kae@insidesmallbiz.com. If you are unable to enter via e-mail, your entry can be mailed in a separate envelope with the recipe category printed on the outside.
  5. Mail entries to: Food Contest, Inside Small Biz, 245 Butler Ave. Lancaster, PA 17601. 
  6. Entries must be postmarked no later than September 30, 2008and received by or received online no later than 12 midnight EST on September 30, 2008.
  7. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Diva Farms will not be responsible for mutilated or misdirected mail or non-delivered entries.
  8. All entries become property of Diva Farms. Entry constitutes permission to edit, modify, and publish and otherwise use the recipe in any way without compensation.  Data from the recipe contest participants may be used by the recipe contest management company, Inside Small Biz, to alert participants about other like recipe contests.


Recipe Requirements 

  1. Recipe must be original. An original recipe is the product of one’s own mind and is not a copy or imitation. If the recipe is derived from a previously published one, it must have at least three ingredients that are different, to qualify.
  2. Recipe must not have been submitted to another contest, promotional event, or for publication at any time.
  3. Recipe should use Diva Farm brand products, whenever possible, and serve a minimum of four persons.
  4. Recipe must be entered via e-mail or typed or legibly printed on an 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper. Ingredients must be listed in order of use and in exact, standard U. S. measurements.
  5. Recipe must include: name of recipe, number of servings, your name, address, daytime telephone number and email address. Please give the store name and location where you shop for groceries. 

 

 

Eligibility 

  1. Contest is open only to residents are of age 18 or older.
  2. Professionals (such as chefs, home economists, anyone who has received career/professional/graduate culinary training or anyone who develops/creates recipes and/or food products for profit), directors and employees of Diva Farm, its affiliated companies, contest sponsors, their agencies and families are not eligible. 

Judging 

  1. Recipes will be judged on taste, originality, ease of preparation and appearance.
  2. An independent judging committee of food professionals will select the winning recipe. Judges’ decisions are final.
  3. Judges will disqualify recipes, which to their knowledge are previously published recipes or previous national recipe winners.
  4. Judges will select one grand prizewinner.
  5. Winner will be selected by October 20, 2008, and notified by telephone. Letter of verification will follow in 10 days. Winner will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability.

Prize 

  1. Prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. No substitution of prize is allowed. Diva Farm reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value or provide cash equivalent.

Applicable federal, state and local taxes on prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
